What exactly is a seat?
Two kinds. An admin seat is full application access — office staff, project managers, anyone running the job from a desk. A field seat is the field-worker app: timesheets, clock-in, site diary, photos, forms and sign-offs. Each plan includes an allowance of both, and beyond that allowance they are charged separately, with field seats costing a fraction of an admin seat because most of a contractor's headcount sits there.

Is there a limit on how many quotes I can raise?
Yes, and it is worth knowing before you pick a plan. Starter covers 20 quotes in a calendar month and Professional covers 75. Enterprise has no monthly ceiling. The count resets at the start of each month, and if you are consistently running into it, that is the signal to move up rather than something to work around.

Is there a free trial?
Not a self-serve one. A subscription started from inside the application is billed from the start. The way in is a 15-minute demo against your own jobs rather than a demo dataset, and where a trial makes sense we set one up as part of the invitation. We would rather show you the product on your work than leave you to find your way round it alone for a fortnight.

Am I tied into a contract?
No. Plans are billed monthly and you can cancel at any time through the billing portal in your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have paid for. Prices are in pounds and exclusive of VAT. Your data stays exportable in JSON and CSV whether or not you are still a customer.

What is the Cornerstone Programme?
A one-off offer for a limited number of early UK contractors: every standard feature unlocked, up to 5 seats for 3 years, and the price locked for the full term with no annual increase. It exists because early customers who tell us what is wrong are worth more to us than their subscription. Once the places are taken it closes and the standard plans apply.
