Price It From Your Own Price Book, Not a Black Box
Every line on an estimate traces back to a rate you set — an assembly, a rate card entry, or a measurement taken straight off the drawing. Send a branded proposal before you have left the property, and track it through to signed.

How ScopeKit estimating works
Build the estimate
Add lines from your own price book — assemblies, rate cards, or measurements pulled straight off a drawing. Every line keeps the rate it was priced from.
- Assemblies group materials, labour and plant into one line
- Rate cards hold your own day rates and margins
- Pull measurements straight from Takeoff
- Covers every UK construction trade
AI assist, optional
Describe the scope in your own words and review the assemblies and quantities it proposes. Nothing prices itself — you accept each line in the grid, and the price is always read from your price book.
- Only runs when you ask it to
- Proposes assemblies and quantities only
- You accept every line before it prices
- Never guesses a rate or invents a quantity
Send and track
Send a branded proposal your customer can view and accept online, then track it through the same pipeline as every other estimate you send.
- Professional PDF with your branding
- Customers accept online with one click
- Convert straight to a project, or a programme of jobs
- Feeds a tender when the estimate was built for one
Track every estimate from send to sign
A priced estimate sits in the same pipeline as everything else you send. See who has opened it, who is sitting on it, and who has accepted, and follow up at exactly the right moment.
- Real-time notifications when customers view your estimate
- Estimate status tracking: sent, viewed, responded, won
- One-click conversion from accepted estimate to live project
- Revenue forecasting based on pipeline value
Questions contractors usually ask
What buyers ask before signing up — answered straight.
01
How accurate is ScopeKit's estimating? Does the AI ever set a price?
No. Every price on an estimate is resolved from your own price book (assemblies, rate cards, or measurements taken straight off a drawing) and is never invented by a model. Ask the AI assist and it only proposes which assemblies and quantities apply to a scope you've described; you review and accept every line in the estimate grid before it's priced.
02
What if I don't want AI involved at all?
Then don't use it. The assist only runs when you ask it to, so every estimate can be built entirely by hand from your price book with no AI in the path. When you do use it, every suggestion is reviewed by a person before anything is saved, and a monthly allowance per organisation caps how much AI work can run across ScopeKit.
03
Can I revise an estimate after I've sent it?
Yes. Every edit creates a new revision, but the reference number on the estimate stays the same, so nothing in your record-keeping breaks and your customer always sees the current version when they open it.
04
Does this connect to tendering?
Yes. A tender can reference the estimate it was built from, so pricing you've already worked out doesn't get re-keyed when a bid moves from priced to won.
05
How does an estimate become a live job?
Link it straight to a project, or generate a full programme of jobs from it in one step — real jobs on your schedule, not a spreadsheet somebody has to retype.
Estimating is included in every ScopeKit plan — from Starter through to Enterprise. See pricing to find the right tier for your team.
