Spring 2026 Release: Smarter Scheduling, Faster Quotes, and More

We have been busy over the past few months building features based directly on what our users have been asking for. The Spring 2026 release focuses on the areas that matter most to construction project managers: spending less time on admin and more time running jobs.

Here is what is new.

Drag-and-Drop Scheduling

Scheduling has always been one of ScopeKit's core strengths, but we heard loud and clear that rearranging tasks needed to be faster. The new drag-and-drop interface lets you move tasks, adjust durations, and reassign resources directly on the timeline.

The problem this solves: When a subcontractor pushes back their start date or materials arrive late, you need to restructure the programme quickly. Previously, this meant editing individual tasks one by one. Now you can grab a task block, drag it to a new date, and ScopeKit will automatically flag any downstream conflicts — overlapping trades, resource clashes, or deadline risks.

Dependencies update in real time as you move things around, so you can see the knock-on effects of a change before you commit to it. It makes replanning after disruptions significantly faster.

Quote Template Library

Quoting is where most projects begin, and we have made it considerably quicker. The new template library lets you save and reuse quote structures for the types of work you do most often.

The problem this solves: If you regularly price similar jobs — say, office fit-outs or residential extensions — you end up rebuilding the same quote structure from scratch each time. Templates let you start from a proven baseline, adjust quantities and rates for the specific job, and send a professional quote in a fraction of the time.

Templates are fully customisable and can be shared across your team. You can also set default markup percentages, preferred suppliers, and standard preliminaries so that new team members produce consistent, accurate quotes from day one.

CDM Compliance Dashboard Upgrades

For firms acting as principal contractors or clients under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, we have upgraded the compliance dashboard with better visibility into document status and duty holder responsibilities.

The problem this solves: Keeping track of which CDM documents are complete, which are outstanding, and who is responsible for what is a constant headache — especially on larger projects with multiple duty holders. The upgraded dashboard gives you a single view of compliance status across all active projects.

New additions include:

• Document completeness indicators — see at a glance whether the construction phase plan, pre-construction information, and H&S file are up to date
• Duty holder tracking — assign and monitor responsibilities for the client, principal designer, and principal contractor roles
• Automated reminders — get notified when documents are approaching review dates or when required information is missing

This is particularly useful for firms managing multiple concurrent projects where compliance obligations can easily be overlooked.

Mobile App Improvements

The ScopeKit mobile experience has received a significant update focused on what site-based users actually need when they are away from their desks.

Key improvements include:

• Faster photo uploads — attaching site photos to tasks and snagging items is now up to three times quicker, with background uploading so you can keep working while files sync
• Offline task updates — mark tasks as complete, add notes, and log time even without signal. Changes sync automatically when you are back online
• Simplified daily log — a streamlined interface for recording site activity, weather conditions, and workforce numbers at the end of each day

These changes came directly from feedback from site managers who told us the mobile app needed to be faster and more forgiving of patchy site connectivity.

What Is Coming Next

We are already working on the next set of improvements. On the roadmap for the coming months:

• Subcontractor portal — a dedicated view for subbies to accept invitations, view their scheduled work, and submit progress updates without needing a full ScopeKit account
• Margin tracking — real-time visibility into projected versus actual costs at the project and task level
• Enhanced reporting — exportable project summaries and compliance reports for clients and auditors
