Where a figure could not be read from a structured pricing page, the entry says so. Not for you if: Anyone who needs the RAMS to connect to scheduling, timesheets or a project record. It is a document generator, and it says so - every document needs review by a competent person before use.

Not for you if: Small firms with irregular workloads. The metered document allowance is the thing to check before signing: one RAMS a month is genuinely limiting, and team pricing is annual with a set-up fee on top.

Not for you if: Anyone who only wants RAMS. If a document generator is genuinely all you need, swiftRMS or RAMS AI will cost you less and do that one job well. Buying a construction management platform for its RAMS module is the wrong purchase.

The model matters more than the headline: a £44 plan that covers one document a month is more expensive than a £49 plan with no cap if you produce four.

No. The requirement is the risk assessment itself. The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require a suitable and sufficient assessment of risks, and CDM 2015 requires a construction phase plan for every project. Nothing obliges you to use software, and a competent person still has to review whatever any tool produces. Software changes how long compliance takes, not whether it applies.

The risk assessment identifies hazards, who might be harmed and what controls reduce the risk. The method statement describes how the work will actually be carried out, step by step, with those controls in place. RAMS is the two together, which is why most clients ask for them as one document.

It can produce a draft, and several tools on this page do exactly that. It cannot make the document suitable and sufficient, which is a judgement about your site, your people and your work. Every AI tool listed here says the same thing in its own terms: a competent person must review the output before use. Treat a generated RAMS as a starting point, not a finished document.

Probably not a subscription. At two or three documents a year, pay-as-you-go credits or a single-month subscription you cancel immediately will cost less than any annual plan. Subscriptions start paying for themselves at roughly one document a month, which is the point where consultant fees of £350 or more per document become the real comparison.
